Allowable Stress Design of Steel Members according to U.S. Standard AISC ASD, 9th Edition |
|
RF-ASD is an add-on module which makes it possible to perform stress analyses for members according to U.S. Standard AISC ASD, 9th Edition.
RF-ASD compares the existing stresses to the limit stresses. The limit stresses can be taken from an extensive library but also be further edited or created by the user as desired. New material properties can be stored in the library for later use.
Program Features- Automatic import of material, cross-sections and results from RFEM
- Design of web tapered members
- Design of plate-griders
- Design of angles according to comment of manual steel contruction
- Visualization of stress points and c/t-parts on cross-section
- Calculation limit stresses for:
- Tension
- Compression
- Share
- Bending
- Torsion
- Compression + Bending
- Tension + Bending
- Material and cross-section library
- Automatically determination of factors Cm and Cb
- Flexible design via various design cases
- Automatic optimization of rolled and welded sections for a maximum of efficiency
- Transfer of optimized cross-sections to RFEM
- Colored illustration of stresses and ratio makes allows for a quick check for critical or oversized members
- Directly export of datas to MS Excel
- Printout Report
