| Input To facilitate the data input, the surfaces, members, sets of members, materials, surface thicknesses and cross-sections defined in RFEM are already preset. Almost anywhere, the program provides the [Pick] function for selecting the elements graphically. In addition, you have access to the global material and cross-section libraries. Load cases, load groups and load combinations can be combined in various design cases to meet specific needs. Finally, you enter all geometric and standard-specific reinforcement settings for the reinforced concrete design in a table including several tabs. The geometric input is different in both RF-CONCRETE modules.
Surfaces or members can be summarized in special "reinforcement groups", each defined by different design parameters. In this way, it is possible for example to calculate alternative designs quickly using different boundary conditions or modified cross-sections. |

| Results Subsequent to the design, RF-CONCRETE lists the required reinforcement and the results of the serviceability limit state design in clearly arranged tables. Moreover, the module displays all intermediate values. The results of RF-CONCRETE Surfaces are shown graphically as isolines, isosurfaces or numerical values. The results in the display for the longitudinal reinforcement can be sorted by required reinforcement, required additional reinforcement, provided basic or additional reinforcement as well as provided total reinforcement. The isolines for the longitudinal reinforcement can be exported as DXF file and reused in CAD programs where they form the basis for reinforcement drawings. The results of RF-CONCRETE Members can be displayed as result diagrams on the respective member. The reinforcement concepts for the longitudinal and the link reinforcement including sketches are documented appropriately. It is possible to edit the reinforcement proposal and to adjust for example the number of members and the anchorage. The modifications will be updated automatically. The concrete cross-section including reinforcement can be represented and visualized by 3D rendering. Take advantage of this option to document the reinforcement data in an optimal way for creating reinforcement drawings including steel schedule. |
