Input The design-relevant data is entered in two separate tables. Due to the module's clear data overview, you will learn to work with the program quite easily. First, the actions that you want to design must be defined. Then, you can determine the members and sets of members manually or graphically and assign the respective allowable limit deformations. The deformations can be set in relation to the deformed member ends or the undeformed system.

Calculation In case the results of the actions to be designed are not available, RF-DEFORM starts the RFEM calculation automatically to determine the deformations by using the settings of the calculation parameters defined in RFEM. Subsequently, the program determines the relative deformations of the members and sets of members selected for the design.

Designs RF-DEFORM compares the relative and absolute deformations with the respective limit values in clear arranged tables. In this way, you can evaluate the design results quickly. If the design of a member or set of member has failed, the program highlights the relevant element. The designs performed by RF-DEFORM can be integrated into the printout report in the same way as data from RFEM.
