RFEM 4 sets new standards for FE calculations |
|
After two years of software development, RFEM 4 is finally brought on the market. The new FEA program has now been released and features numerous useful tools for modeling, load generation and analysis that save a lot of time in engineering offices.
New analysis coreThe analysis core of RFEM 4 has been completely remade. Due to the support of multi-core processor technology you can carry out parallel calculations of several linear load cases and load groups without additional use of the main memory. Together with the integrated 64-bit technology, you can now calculate bigger structures even faster. This saves a lot of time which is a real competitive advantage for everybody working with RFEM 4.
As the increased amount of software functions requires an appropriate arrangement of menus, navigators and dialog boxes on the graphical user interface, although different tools may have different significance according to the individual needs of the user, it is now possible to adjust the interface individually. No matter if you want to change the background style, combine your own menus or toolbars, or increase the view of icons - an individual adjustment of the graphical user interface saves a lot of time when modeling the structure.
Even the enhanced parameterized input for a fast manipulation of the model geometry and the loads resulting from the entered values accounts for a fast handling of big projects. Especially when you model and calculate steel skeleton structures, you often use recurrent structures that differ only in some parameters. RFEM 4 offers the possibility to save the model as a whole block including all formulas and loads. In this way standard structures can be quickly imported into various projects and easily adjusted to the requirements by a few mouse clicks.
An additional use is also the wide range of interfaces that are integrated in RFEM 4 by default. Some of the latest are, for example, a direct connection to Tekla Structures, the import from and the export to Open Office.org Calc. and the interface to STRAKON.
RFEM 4 is now available as new version. For more detailed information, look at the program description. In the download area, you also find a free demo version of RFEM 4.
