Generation of Load Groups |
![]() |
||
| Input The add-on module RSCOMBI is integrated in the RSTAB program. RSCOMBI imports load cases that have been defined in RSTAB and divides them into two categories. The first category includes ordinary load cases and the second one includes load cases with imperfections. RSCOMBI defines code-compliant actions and allocates RSTAB load cases to them. Then, all considered load groups and load combinations are generated according to a selected code. Consequently, these load groups and load combinations can be exported to RSTAB for the further analysis. It is not always necessary to consider all generated load groups or load combinations. Thus, they can be reduced automatically or manually before the export to RSTAB. The calculation time in RSTAB will be considerably shorter. |

| Analysis and Results To extend the module application range, American, Canadian, and Indian standards have been newly implemented. The EN 1990 code requires the ultimate limit state design and the serviceability limit state design. The ultimate limit state is analyzed in four design situations. The serviceability limit state occurs in three design situations. RSCOMBI has two results tables. In the first table, results are diplayed by actions, the same way like definition of actions in codes. In the second table, generated load groups or load combinations are listed by load cases. The output of numeric results is possible in the RSTAB printout report. |
