Generation of Equivalent Geometric Imperfections |
![]() |
||
| Input RSIMP consists of clearly arranged input masks. You can decide whether imperfections according to buckling modes, to dynamic modes or to the deformations of an RSTAB load case are to be created. Along with this, the magnitudes of the drift and/or camber are entered. |

| Analysis and Results After the generation of the imperfections, they can be checked graphically or in a result table and subsequently transferred to RSTAB as a load case. In case of an pre-deformed initial structure, the RSTAB model is modified. In doing so, the displacements are scaled to a user-definable maximum ordinate, which is often practiced with shell-shaped structures. To get the full scope of calculations possible, the use of RSBUCK and DYNAM Basic is recommended. |
