RSMOVE is the RSTAB add-on module which generates load cases for various positions of moving loads such as cranes or vehicles on bridges.
The sets of members inflicted by the load can be selected graphically from the RSTAB structure. It is possible to create identical load patterns for several sets of members in one go. The load types include linear and trapezoidal loads, single and multiple loads or moments in local and global directions.
RSMOVE is most suitable if bridges or crane runways are to be designed. The initial position of the load is freely definable so that loads like a truck driving on a bridge can be perfectly simulated. The set of loads can also be adjusted whether it continues over the end of the set of members (such as with bridges) or not (such as with craneways).
RSMOVE creates the resulting load cases from these load positions for RSTAB. The extent of the generated load cases can be influenced by the increment (i.e. distances) of the individual load positions.
