RX-TIMBER Package 1.xx

Calculation and Design of Timber Constructions according to DIN 1052:2004-08 or EN 1995-1-1:2004 

The program RX-TIMBER calculates and designs glued-laminated beams, continuous beams and columns for the ultimate limit state and serviceability limit state according to DIN 1052: 2004-08 or EN 1995-1-1: 2004.
Also the fire protection proof according to DIN 4102 is possible.
Features of Module Glued-Laminated Beam

Calculation of different beam types:

  • parallel Calculation of different beam types: beam
  • monopitch roof beam
  • duopitch roof beam with straight bottom chord
  • arch beam
  • duopitch roof beam with inclined bottom chord and constant height
  • duopitch roof beam with inclined bottom chord and variable height
  • fish beam - parabolic
  • fish beam - linear with roundings in central area
Asymmetric layout and cantilevers.

Stiffening elements for transversal tension:
  • glued-in steel bars
  • steel bars with wood-screw threads
  • bonded solid wood or agglomerated wood strips
  • bonded agglomerated wood plates
Automatic determination of snow load according to DIN 1055: 2005, part 5.
Automatic determination of wind load according to DIN 1055: 2005, part 4.
Optimization of cross-sections.

  • simple beam, optionally with cantilever
  • continuous beam, optionally with cantilever
  • gerber beam, optionally with cantilever
Automatic determination of snow load according to DIN 1055: 2005, part 5.
Automatic determination of factors cpe, min and cpe, max for wind load
according to DIN 1055: 2005, part 4.
Reduction of shear force according to DIN 1052 10.2.9.
Redistribution of Moments according to DIN 1052 8.1 (6).
