RFEM 3D - Version 4.xx

The structural analysis and design software package RFEM sets new standards in Finite Element Analysis (FEA). The intuitive user interface, outstanding modeling and analysis capabilities as well as a wide variety of structural design options make RFEM the most complete structural design solution for all areas of civil and mechanical engineering. 

The general purpose FEA program includes plates, shells, walls, beams and solids. RFEM allows for top-to-bottom design of entire buildings and constructions consisting of steel, timber, concrete or other materials. It includes linear and nonlinear elements, cables and advanced analytical techniques such as large deformation or buckling analysis.

RX-TIMBER

RX-TIMBER is a set of stand-alone design programs for typical structures in timber engineering. The software includes ultimate limit state, serviceability limit state, and fire resistance design according to EN 1995-1-1 (Eurocode 5) and DIN 1052.

All governing load combinations are created automatically in the RX-TIMBER
package by the integrated add-on module RF-COMBI.

 

Programs for Cross-Section Values

SHAPE-THIN and SHAPE-MASSIVE

Stand-alone programs used to determine the properties of any cross-sections, calculation of stresses and design.

Both programs provide a connection to RSTAB and RFEM so that the cross-sections from SHAPE-THIN and SHAPE-MASSIVE are available for selection also in the libraries of RSTAB and RFEM. Of course, it is also possible to import internal forces from RSTAB and RFEM to SHAPE-THIN and SHAPE-MASSIVE for further design.
