Timber Column

Description On a restrained timber support, exposed to pressure and buckling, which is additionally kept in the Y-direction, the stability and buckling analysis is done. This example is taken from “Holzbau-Taschenbuch”, Volume 1, 9. Edition, Page 236 by Ernst & Sohn. All the results, derived from the programs RSTAB, TIMBER and DEFORM, you can compare with the results in the literature. For this you have the corresponding references to the literature appendix.
