Is it possible to use the general method according to EN 1993‑1‑1, 6.3.4 to design structural components with an asymmetric cross-section in the Steel Design add-on for RFEM 6 or RSTAB 9?
I am having trouble with the design of a steel structure. For a singly symmetric cross-section (UPE), the program cannot perform the stability analysis. It reports that the Equivalent Member Method 6.3.3 is not applicable for an unsymmetrical cross-section. Is it possible to design such cross-sections in the program?
RFEM 6 reports that the punching shear resistance design of a slab without shear reinforcement is not fulfilled. Can the program design this reinforcement?
Where in the printout report manager can I select the results that are of interest to me, such as the internal forces and the support forces from the load cases, load combinations, and result combinations?
Our company has a new name that will be used by all company locations (national and international). I know that the address is stored in author.ini. However, it cannot be changed. We would prefer an empty author.ini so that we can adjust it individually depending on the location.
