### 0003 - Orthotropic Cantilever in Tension

Description This test is focused on the Orthotropic 2D and 3D material model. We have a cantilever plate which is loaded by pressure p on the top. The plate is supported at the bottom as fully fixed. The coordinate system of the example is moreover rotated by angle beta around y-axis.

### 0050 - Cantilever Bending with Large Deflection

Description A steel cantilever is loaded by a single force F on the right end and fully fixed on the left end. Determine maximum deflection of the structure by means of the large deformation theories (III. order).

### 0022 - Circle Surface with Thermal Load

Description A simply supported circle plate is subjected to uniform pressure uniform temperature and differential temperature . The reference temperature is 20°C. Determine the maximum deflection of the plate u. For modeling the Young’s modulus, which is dependent on temperature, the material model Isotropic thermal elastic is used. ### 0005 - String Beyond Limit Point

Description A steel string with a small bending stiffness is loaded by Imposed Nodal Deformations on both sides. The string is simply supported on both ends. This example demonstrates the effect of large deformations. Date 10. 09. 2013 Program / Module RFEM Documentation Video Structural files

### 0029 - Fiber Rotation Test in Laminated Plates

Description A one layered square orthotropic plate of length and height, fully fixed at its middle point, is subjected to pressure. The material is considered stiffer in direction of fibers. Different fiber directions are set and the correct fiber directions are tested on corner point deflections.

### 0026 - Orthotropic Laminated Plate

Description A simply supported square laminated plate is subjected to a uniform pressure. The plate consists of four layers of the same thickness made of orthotropic material. The layers are symmetric about the middle plane. Each layer has a constant thickness. Two layers in the middle have fiber orientation to 90° whereas the outer layers have fiber orienta-tion 0°.
