0003 - Orthotropic Cantilever in Tension

Description This test is focused on the Orthotropic 2D and 3D material model. We have a cantilever plate which is loaded by pressure p on the top. The plate is supported at the bottom as fully fixed. The coordinate system of the example is moreover rotated by angle beta around y-axis.

The layers are symmetric about the middle plane. Each layer has a constant thickness. Two layers in the middle have fiber orientation to 90° whereas the outer layers have fiber orienta-tion 0°.
