Generation of Wind, Ice and Variable Loads for Lattice Towers

Take advantage of the third TOWER module to create design relevant actions for RSTAB. The loads can be specified as parameterized wind, ice and variable loads. The objects defined in TOWER Structure and TOWER Equipment are also taken into account for the generation.

Input TOWER Loading fulfills the requirements according to DIN 1055-4, DIN 4131:1991-11 and DIN V 4131:2008-09. These standards include specifications for loads due to self-weight, wind, humans, ice and traffic. The standard specifications are preset or stored in the libraries. Furthermore, it is possible to create individual load situations: wind pressure, wind direction or ice loads can be set manually or imported from tables.


Generation Subsequent to the load generation, you can check the data displayed in tables. The output shows all specifications for the generated load cases and loads due to self-weight, wind and ice load. All loads are itemized by structural objects and different types of equipment.


Data Export The generated loads can be easily transferred to RSTAB by mouse-click, where it is possible to superimpose them with other load cases. In addition, you can jump directly into the add-on module RSCOMBI to create combinations for the relevant design situations.
