Terrain Model

This function is only available in the Pro version of RWIND 2.

This feature works similarly to the "Model Editor," but is used to create terrain. To open the Terrain Editor, click the Insert New Editable Terrain Model Icon button or right-click an already created terrain model. The terrain is defined by a "Layered Domain" object. The procedure is such that a "Base Surface" (or more surfaces with possible openings) forming the ground shape of the terrain is created first, then the terrain elevation is defined using the "Thickness Vectors." A thickness vector is defined by two points, the first of which should lie in the base surface or on its boundary curves. After creating the base surface and thickness vectors, complete the definition of the terrain by creating the "Layered Domain" object - for example, using the "3D Layered Domain – Extrude" function.
