The revolving superstructure of ship loader for coal can be moved in horizontal direction.
A long-standing customer of Dlubal Software, the Jürgen Ehlenz engineering office, was in charge of structural analysis of the steel structure including recalculation of the superstructure for increased conveying capacity and design of required strengthening.
The jib can be lifted and lowered and has a total length of approximately 38 m. The construction has the following dimensions:

- Height: 30.0 m
The calculated structure consists of 799 members including 113 different cross‑sections.
Most of the cross‑sections have been determined in SHAPE‑THIN.
