The school building addition in Sutz-Lattrigen was built on the existing foundation floor. This foundation was not designed to withstand a second story. Therefore, the loads from the first floor and the additional second story had to be designed as concentrated loads. In order to reduce weight but also for educational and sustainability reasons, timber was used in the construction of the new building.

Designed to store nearly 2 million library volumes and works of art, the University of Arkansas Library Annex in Fayetteville was built with cross-laminated timber (CLT) roofs, walls and floors, and glulam beams, columns and moment frames.

With an area of 110,000 ft², the North Surrey Sports and Ice Complex includes three ice rinks, event rooms, restaurants, as well as outdoor areas.
StructureCraft, a customer of Dlubal Software, was selected as the structural engineer and builder of the roof structure for this exciting local project in Surrey, Canada, after proposing a turnkey, value engineered solution in late 2017.

In the Chinese province of Qinghai, near the city of Haixi, a complex of 23 multi-energy plants is being built, combining different technologies to generate energy from renewable resources. The complex comprises a 618.4 ft high tower of the 50-MW solar power plant whose support structure is expected to be completed in mid-2019.
The solar power plant uses a modern CSP (Concentrated Solar Power) technology, which enables the storage of thermal solar energy, thus ensuring continuous power generation even at night.

Within a short period of time, a modern aluminum structure with sophisticated building services was constructed for the company Hydro Aluminium in Grevenbroich.
The construction project on the premises near Düsseldorf covers approximately a length of 722 ft and a width of 394 ft. It includes various connecting bridges to the existing premises, a three-aisled production hall with outbuildings as well as a 328 ft long and 99 ft high high-rack warehouse which was constructed in slipform paving technology.

The engineering office Études Techniques Lyonnaises was in charge of planning and structural design of the foundation for a new unloading area of an industrial site in the Isère department in France.
The new unloading area consists of a steel structure built on a foundation plate. The total area is divided into two parts: a traffic and unloading area for rail vehicles, and an area with a pit and a traffic zone for lift trucks.

SWE-Eurodrive GmbH & Co. KG, a German family-owned company operating in the area of drive technology, expands its plant until 2019 at Graben-Neudorf. The existing plant with a size of 1,184,030 ft² will almost be doubled. The main components of the extension is a factory building, a combined pedestrian and media bridge as well as a road bridge.

A wooden lookout tower called Ester was inaugurated in Jerusalem in mid-November 2017. The tower in the shape of a blooming cactus, designed by the renowned Czech architect Martin Rajniš, is located in the gardens of a former hospital, built in 1887, not far from the walls of the Old City. It offers visitors a spectacular view over Jerusalem.

Cavezzo is one of the towns in the region of Emilia-Romagna damaged by the 2012 earthquake. As a result of this event, many public and private structures were heavily damaged and became uninhabitable. The municipal gym is one of these structures which had damages so serious that it was necessary to completely demolish the existing structure made of reinforced concrete. The foundation was though partially left on site.
