As part of the 4-lane widening of the federal highway 236 between Dortmund/Schwerte and the Schwerte motorway junction of the Autobahn 1 highway, the existing Freischütz pedestrian and cyclist bridge was renewed.

SIDO Madera, a Spanish Dlubal customer, has designed a 21 m long bicycle-pedestrian bridge located in Orihuela, Alicante, Spain. It is made of GL24H pine timber, treated by autoclave with copper salts. In addition, hot-dip galvanized S235 steel fasteners were used.
