Training Objective

Students and new users should gain basic knowledge about the possible utilization of RFEM by Dlubal Software. The aim is to learn the participants to enter and edit simple models as well as to understand the design principles. The participants also learn how to document structural calculations using the Dlubal structural analysis software.

Theoretical background knowledge of structural engineering (a student in the main studies, a participation in the structural analysis lectures), the installed and executable student version of RFEM (either your own laptop or installed in the computer pool of your university). Program knowledge in RFEM by Dlubal Software is not required.

  • Introduction to the program
  • Introduction to the basic workflow using RFEM
  • Analysis of simple models with the design of steel and reinforced concrete structures
  • Documentation of the calculations
  • Frequently used features of the program
  • Please Note

  • The minimum enrollment for the training is 10 participants. The maximum number of participants is determined upon agreement with the responsible person. Further arrangements are possible upon consultation.
  • To participate the course, it is necessary to have a suitable computer with the current student version of RFEM installed and running. All participants work on their own computers. Furthermore, each student will receive detailed training materials in the PDF format.
  • A list of the participating students must be submitted before the training date.
