Result Beam

Glossary Term

A result beam is a special member type of Dlubal Software. They allow you to integrate the internal forces of members, surfaces and solids and display them as member internal forces.

It is a purely fictitious member. Therefore, it has no stiffness, does not need to be supported and cannot be loaded. Due to its properties that are very similar to a member (length, cross-section, material), it can be designed using various member design modules.
