Free Concentrated Load

Glossary Term

Free concentrated loads are single forces or moments at any point of a surface.

The single forces act positively if the load arrows point in the direction of the positive axis of the respective coordinate system.

The positive concentrated moments act right-handed about the corresponding positive axis of the coordinate system.

Entering in RFEM

Free concentrated loads can be entered and defined in RFEM using the menu "Insert" → "Loads" → "Free Concentrated Loads" → "Dialog Box" or in tables.
