Online Training About Timber Design According to EN 1995-1-1
Due to new construction methods, especially cross-laminated timber construction, timber structures are becoming more common. This training gives an introduction to timber design utilizing the RFEM program family.
During the training, we will discuss the special features of the material models and the design of the fasteners on surfaces in detail. After having designed simple 2D structures, we will continue with designing 3D models.
In addition to the ultimate limit state design, we will also explain the serviceability limit state design as well as the complex vibration design.
