Question

I would like to know the dead load of the model. Using the plausibility check, I can quickly determine the model mass. How can I obtain the weight of the individual beam types or the component of the steel grade S 235 and S 355?

Answer

It is possible to display the center of gravity and other information of the model parts already when entering the data:

  • Use "Visibilities" in the Views navigator to display the relevant objects.
  • Select them by drawing a window.
  • Right-click the selection to open the shortcut menu.
  • Select the Center of Gravity and Info entry.

In the information window, you can now see the Material Weight of the selected objects.
