How can I define a plane calculation for a two-hinged frame to avoid defining supports in the Y‑direction?

Answer

You can define the model type 2D - in XZ (plane) or 3D (spatial) in General Data.

General data of a model can be found under "Edit → Model Data → General Data."

As an alternative, you can right-click "Model Data" in the Data navigator and select "General Data" in the shortcut menu.

The model type can also be adjusted retroactively.
