Robert Vogl Calculation RF-STEEL STEEL

Why the maximum stresses are not determined in STEEL during the calculation of result combinations?

Answer

In the case of biaxial loading it may happen that the combined internal forces do not lead to the maximum stresses. Therefore, there is the option "Calculate stresses from single load cases in RC and then combine stresses according to RC criteria" set by default. Please check in the Details dialog box if this calculation method is set.

Further inforation about the stresses of result combination can be found in the RF-/STEEL manual.
