Is it possible to convert area loads into member loads in RFEM/RSTAB?

Answer

RFEM/RSTAB also allows you to generate member loads from area loads automatically.

You can do it i.a. using planes or cells. Go to the 'Tools' menu, point to 'Generate Loads' and select 'From Area Loads on Members via Plane' or 'From Area Loads on Members via Cells'.

Depending on which command you choose, you either have to define a surface load level via the corner nodes, or you pick the cells (on which the load should act) in the graphic. Further information on handling can also be found in our manual.
