Robert Vogl Calculation RFEM

How RFEM applies a surface load if there is an opening in the loaded surface?

Answer

If there are openings in the surfaces, the surfaces in the opening areas are not loaded. The loads in the area of the openings are subtracted from the entire load.

The figure shows a rectangular surface with a rectangular opening. In the result table 4.0, the correct sum of loads is displayed.
