Question

Is it possible to run Dlubal Software programs on a Mac?

Answer:

The current Dlubal products are released for use on Microsoft-based operating systems. You can install this operating system on your Mac, in parallel. Please note that local licenses (a single-user dongle and softlocks) cannot be accessed via parallel desktops. However, using a local USB dongle and using Windows via Boot Camp should work.

Furthermore, you should note that Dlubal programs were developed for x64 processors. Macs with M1 or M2 processors are, therefore, not supported.

We also do not support the installation of a Dlubal Software program on an ARM version of Windows 10 (installation via Bootcamp on a Mac with an M1 and M2 chip).

If you use the developer version of Windows 10 for ARM with the x64 emulator to run Dlubal software, Dlubal support cannot provide any assistance in the event of any problems.

Please refer to our minimum requirements (especially the reference to the x64 processor).
