How can installations be distributed via the network?
Run setup.exe with the parameter "-E." In the example shown in Figure 01, the RFEM installation file has been copied to the drive C:\. After the decompression, you find a new folder in the same path with the name "Program_Version Number_Architecture." In the example in Figure 01, a folder with the name RFEM5.07.13_64-bit has been created.
The installation can be then started from this folder with the command "msiexec -i .msi" (see Figure 02). If the authorization file is to be imported at the same time and if the language is German, the command will be as follows:
msiexec -i "Dlubal RSTAB 64-bit.msi" -passive -q TRANSFORMS=1031.mst AUTHORIZATION_FILE_PATH=\\[IHR SERVER]\AUTHOR.INI
If using the command -q (=-quiet), the installation is carried out without the user interface.
The command prompt should be started by right-clicking and selecting the shortcut menu option "Run as Administrator."
If the program language is to be English, it is necessary to delete the parameter "TRANSFORMS=1031.mst."
You can find the detailed information about all commands and language IDs in the document "Software Deployment."
