I have a cross-section where local buckling can be neglected. Can I manually classify the cross-section and thus avoid Class 4 of the cross-section?

Answer

Manual cross-section classification is possible in Window 1.3 "Cross-Sections" (see the figure).

For general cross-sections, the cross-section classes 3 and 4 are available, and for many common cross-sections, all cross-section classes 1 to 4.
