I can not select the intersections of lines of a background slide using the object snap. What could be the cause for this?

Answer

If you can not grab any of the background film's dots, make sure the object snap settings are correct.

If all other points are detected by object snap, the problem already lies with importing the background slide. If 2 lines are not exactly in one plane, even if these planes have only one infitisimal small distance, no node is formed during the import. Thus, this intersection can not be selected. You should solve this problem directly in your DXF file.
