Question

When importing a dxf file, I get a message saying that the dimensions of the model are larger than 10,000 meters. What should I do?

Answer:
The message (Image 01) indicates that the dimensions of the model are very large. This may have the following causes:

1) The dimensions of the model are indeed very large, so it is not necessary to take any further action.

2) The wrong length units were set for the import. In this case, check the length units in the "ASCII Format DXF (*.dxf)" tab of the "Import" dialog box and set the desired length unit (Image 02).

3) The model is far from the origin. The model can be moved to the origin in the CAD program, then imported into RFEM/RSTAB.
