For single surfaces, no result values are displayed in the table. What could be the problem?

For surfaces in RFEM, the results are always displayed in the grid points. If the grid layout is not set correctly, it may happen that no such result is available for individual surfaces. Consequently, no result value is displayed in the graphic and the surface is missing in the results table.

In general, it is sufficient to reduce the spacing of the grid points. For an optimal output and graphical display, you can also adjust the surface grid in the surface's editing window. To do this, double-click the surface to open the "Edit Surface" dialog box. There, select the "Grid" tab.

The following basic settings for the surface grid can be adjusted here:

  • Cartesian or polar grid type
  • Number and spacing of grid points per direction

When selecting a user-defined grid type, you can additionally specify the following options:

  • Origin of grid
  • Grid rotation
  • Orientation of grid axis
