The Viewer for RSTAB and RFEM are nothing more than full versions that are restricted in their functionality.
RSTAB and RFEM are designed for the x86 processor architecture that is used in the majority of desktop computers and notebooks. The tablets use a different processor architecture (ARM) and operating system.
However, there is an option to use the viewer. To do this, you would need a Remote Desktop Client (e. G. example that of Microsoft). Allows you to remotely control your computer in the office using the tablet.
In principle, our software runs on a Microsoft Surface Tablet. Make sure that the tablet is equipped with the 64-bit version of Windows 10. The latest versions of RSTAB and RFEM are only available for 64-bit Windows.
However, one problem is that these tablets are all equipped only with an Intel graphics chip. The OpenGL implementation in its graphics driver is not very good. This may lead to crashes. A problem of the current graphics driver is that the nodes are not displayed in RSTAB and RFEM.
AnswerIf the program has already been installed on the computer, the installation data of the folders for the general data and the projects are greyed out in the installation wizard. Thus, a subsequent change is no longer allowed.
Only after all Dlubal applications have been uninstalled can they be accessed when reinstalled.
AnswerOn our website, you can access the product downloads by entering the login data (see Figure 1). Alternatively, you can access this page by selecting "Dlubal Software Account (Extranet)" in the program by selecting Help → Dlubal Software.
AnswerThe DICKQ program is only available as a 32-bit version. You can also use them on a computer with a 64-bit operating system.
No, the old versions will not be uninstalled. Thus, several versions of RFEM can be used simultaneously on the computer, which makes sense in many cases.
If you want to uninstall an old RFEM version, you can do so with the following command:
msiexec -x <old MSI package>
For a complete list of all msiexec capabilities, use the following command:
AnswerThe modules are integrated into the program portfolio of RFEM / RSTAB. That is, if you want to test any module, it usually suffices to download the main program here.Only the independent programs eg DUENQ you have to download separately.
All download links on our server are ok. However, the installations are very large files. They are significantly larger than 1 GB.
There may be a limit on download size in your network, or there may be a problem with your Internet connection.
Please contact your administrator for this. If the problem can not be solved, then there is also the possibility to send you the current version on a USB stick by post. In this case, contact the support via e-mail ( firstname.lastname@example.org ).
AnswerThe 1. Possibility is a reinstallation of the program. The first time you try to install the program again, you will be asked if you want to uninstall first. Confirm the query and then reinstall the program. The 2. Possibility is the manual integration of already existing material libraries of another computer on which the programs are already installed. For example, the following material databases must be synchronized in each program version:
By default, these databases are located in the hidden folder C: \ ProgramData \ Dlubal \ RFEM \ General DataYou will also find the material databases for the versions RFEM 5.18 and RSTAB 8.18 under the download links
- the program-installed material library "Materialien.dbd" with common materials
- The user-defined material library "Materials_User.dbd"
Installation problems often have the following causes:
- Antivirus software
- User rights
- Windows updates
