Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Customer Support 24/7
AnswerYes, you can define an area in the panel by clicking the button "options". Here you can define a customized area by moving the slider. In that case the areas with higher or lower stresses have no color.
AnswerThe panel which appears after calculation has a filter for displaying certain elements. From time to time it is possible that consciously or unconsciously elements have been removed from the display of the results.
It is therefore recommended that elements in the results display are missing unexpectedly, first to control the filter of the panel (see picture).
AnswerIf the color scale is arranged outside the graphic, an additional width specification becomes active for this particular case. This applies with priority to the dimensions of the scale on the right.
To display the color scale, the following settings must be made:
- For member results: Activates the option "Colored with gradient", "Colored without gradient" or "Cross-Sections" under "Results" -> "Members" in the Display navigator, see Figure 1
- For surface results: Activation of the option "Isobands," "Isoaches," or "Differences" under "Results" -> "Display mode", see Figure 1
- For member and surface results: Select all / selected members / surfaces within the "Filters" tab in the panel, see Figure 2
When displaying member and surface results on the screen at the same time, only one panel appears. However, you can switch between members and surfaces (see Figure 01).
In the case of the graphic printout, you can specify how to display both panels in the printout report (see Figure 02).
You can increase the color scale and the font size in the panel for the printout as follows: When printing, define the size of the Absolute panel in the "Color Scale" tab and, if necessary, increase the text factor (see figure). You can also adjust this setting retroactively in the printout report for the "Properties" of the graphic.
When enlarging the font size, it is usually necessary to adjust the height of the color scale: Otherwise, the font would overlap the color scale.

Your support is by far the best
“Thank you very much for the useful information.
I would like to pay a compliment to your support team. I am always impressed how quickly and professionally the questions are answered. In the industry of structural analysis, I use several software including service contract, but your support is by far the best.”
