AnswerThe limits can not be modified in ALUMINUM. However, you can create a new material with modified boundaries based on the required material. Figure 1 shows the mask of the material library. Select a suitable base material here and then click on "Create new material ...". In the following dialog you can give the material a new name and change all parameters of the material.
AnswerThis effect usually occurs in DUENQ cross-sections. When modeling the cross-sections, it should always be ensured that the inputs for height and thickness were not reversed for the elements (see Figure 1).
AnswerThe cause lies less in the defined cross section, but rather in the material characteristics. The yield strengths and limiting stresses are stored there as a function of the component thickness. An unacceptability results when the thickness of a cross-sectional part is greater than the existing thickness range.
To fix this, you have the following options:
1) You can create another thickness range with the appropriate voltages in the mask 1.2 "Materials" module-internal
2) Alternatively, you can select a different material with suitable thickness ranges in the library of RSTAB / RFEM
