  • Answer

You have probably defined different colors for the screen display and the printout report.

Open the "Display Properties" dialog box by using the RFEM/RSTAB menu "Options → Display Properties → Edit." Then, you can specify the appropriate settings of the screen and the printout report for each category, for example, for cross-sections (see the figure).

If both representations should be identical, it is necessary to select the For screen and printout report option in the "Identical Settings" section first. All entries subsequently made in the settings then apply equally to both the screen view and the printout report.

  • Answer

In RFEM and RSTAB, you can save user-defined colors formaterials. In this way, you can change the color display of the solid model.

To change the color of a material, you have to open the Edit Material dialog box first. Then, by clicking the "Edit Color and Texture of Material" button, you open the "Edit Material Color andTexture" dialog box. Here, you can set a different color for the corresponding structural components with this material and display them in this color in the rendering mode.

First Steps

First steps

We provide hints and tips to help you get started with the main programs RFEM and RSTAB.

Wind Simulation & Wind Load Generation

With the stand-alone program RWIND Simulation, wind flows around simple or complex structures can be simulated by means of a digital wind tunnel.

The generated wind loads acting on these objects can be imported to RFEM or RSTAB.

Your support is by far the best

“Thank you for the valuable information.

I would like to pay a compliment to your support team. I am always impressed how quickly and professionally the questions are answered. I have used a lot of software with a support contract in the field of structural analysis, but your support is by far the best. ”
