Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Customer Support 24/7
AnswerThe message (Figure 01) indicates that the dimensions of the model are very large. This may have the following causes:1) The dimensions of the model are indeed very large, so it is not necessary to take any further action.2) There were wrong length units set for the import. In this case, check the length units in the "ASCII Format DXF (*.dxf)" tab of the "Import" dialog box and set the desired length unit (Figure 02).3) The model is far away from the origin. The model can be moved to the origin in the CAD program and then imported into RFEM/RSTAB.
AnswerThe structure is probably far from the zero point (0, 0, 0). The structure should be moved to the zero point for the object snap to work as desired.

Wind Simulation & Wind Load Generation
With the stand-alone program RWIND Simulation, wind flows around simple or complex structures can be simulated by means of a digital wind tunnel.
The generated wind loads acting on these objects can be imported to RFEM or RSTAB.
“Thank you for the valuable information.
I would like to pay a compliment to your support team. I am always impressed how quickly and professionally the questions are answered. I have used a lot of software with a support contract in the field of structural analysis, but your support is by far the best. ”
