  • Answer

    It would be possible to design wall ends (at the transition to the floors) with RF-CONCRETE Surfaces. The result is a required reinforcement amount in [cm² / m].

    Alternatively, it is possible to insert result members into the zones with the governing tension force in the walls, thus integrating resultant surface internal forces into member internal forces in these zones. It is recommended to ensure a sufficient FE mesh refinement in the integration area. This procedure is also described in an article of our Knowledge Base, which you can find below for the links .

    Then, you can design the result members with the member internal forces, which originate from the surfaces, in RF-CONCRETE Members (in this case, for a tensile force). The resulting tensile reinforcement in [cm²] is then obtained for a defined area.
