If one or more members with a circular cross-section have been dimensioned, As,bottom and As,top are no longer indicated: "top" and "bottom" cannot be defined for this cross-section; the reinforcement is inserted "all around".
Solution: Create a separate design case for the circular cross-sections (select the "File → Add New Case" in module menu) and design the corresponding members separately. In the other design case, delete the members with circular cross-sections. After having calculated the design, As,top and As,bottom are displayed in the Results navigator.

RFEM creates a different hatching depending on the load size.
The easiest way is to create a contact solid between both surfaces. The contact solid allows you to precisely describe the contact properties of the surfaces lying on top of each other. If the contact conditions are of less relevance and both surfaces have the same material properties, you could simply increase the thickness of a surface at the respective location and only use one surface.
