The cross-sections of members are always related to the centroidal axis in RFEM/RSTAB. The rendering is adjusted accordingly. This has no influence on the calculation.

It is either RSTAB for frame & beam structures, or RFEM for general finite element calculations (beam structures, surfaces, and solid elements). For this, you can configure the required add-on modules depending on your task.
