Automatically Ignoring Curved c/t Parts
Tips & Tricks
Curved c/t parts are not included in the cross‑section classification of EN 1993‑1‑1. In RFEM 4 and RSTAB 7, they had to be removed manually by using SHAPE‑THIN in order to allow for a calculation. In RFEM 5 and RSTAB 8, this step can be automated by using the option “Ignore classification of curved parts if c/t ≤ n.”
