Load Generation on Uneven Cells
Tips & Tricks
The load generators in RFEM and RSTAB used to convert area loads to member loads automatically require cells which are almost even. In case of arc‑like structures the cells often cannot be recognized automatically.
By default, nodes are allowed to deviate from the plane by 1° maximum in order to be identified as a component of the plane, which results in the correct recognition of cells. In case of structures with larger deviations it is possible to adjust the corresponding values by detailed settings so that the automatic load generation can still be used.
