Adjusting Minimum Distance Between Two Points

Tips & Tricks

Because of the default settings for the regeneration function, nodes lying very close to each other might be united. This can be especially inconvenient in very small models. You can, however, adjust the minimum distance between two nodes. To do this, select on the menu ‘Tools’ -> ‘Regenerate Model’. In the appearing dialog box, you can define the tolerances.

The figure shows the option for RFEM. In RSTAB, you can find a similar dialog box using the same menu.
