Display Intersection of Free Surface Loads

  • Knowledge Base

Tips & Tricks

Often in RFEM, only part of and not an entire surface must be loaded. A typical case of this is soil pressure. For this purpose, there is the option of defining free surface loads. They are surface-independent and are displayed in defined coordinate dimensions in the graphic.

However, checking the load, especially the load direction, can initially be problematic. But for this, the load area located completely within the surface can be displayed using an option. You can find it in the Display navigator under ‘Loads’ –> ‘Free Loads’ –> ‘Intersections’.
