Move/Edit Background Layers
Tips & Tricks
In RFEM and RSTAB, it is possible to import DXF files as background layers. They can have one to three dimensions. For this, you can use DXF files from other programs as well as the DXF files exported from RFEM or RSTAB.
Background layers help you save previously marked objects in the background and use the snap function on these elements. Moreover, you can then move, rotate, etc. these objects, for example members or nodes. To open this menu, right‑click the respective background layer in the project navigator and select “Guide Objects” → “Background Layers.”
