Witteveen+Bos performed a seismic analysis on an existing concrete foundation with piers located in the Netherlands. The connected steel pipe rack and piping system were also included in the analysis.
Utilizing a multimodal response spectrum analysis in RFEM, Witteveen+Bos specified a unique response spectra to analyze the structural response induced by this seismic activity.

The Landslide Hotel is located near the Rotterdam Airport. The multi-storey reinforced concrete structure was designed by the engineering office Van Numen from Rosmalen, The Netherlands, and the structural anlalysis was performed utilizing RFEM.

For a project in Rotterdam, ADS Ertner used IDEA CONNECTION to analyze a structural steel connection. This program calculates steel connections utilizing the CBFEM method where each thin-walled cross-section is modelled with nonlinear material properties, nonlinear bolts, and nonlinear welds. In order to transfer loads, ADS Ertner needed to use blocks in the connection model. In IDEA CONNECTION, blocks are not easily integrated with thin-walled plates.

In 2017, VIC OBDAM was commissioned by BAM to fully design the Kasbank project (total weight about 334 t) in Amsterdam. This project included a free-standing steel spiral staircase.

At the end of 2013, the ‘Vechthoeve’ was transported over a distance of 500 m. The wooden house, referred to as the Pippi Longstocking house, is situated close to Amsterdam, the capital of the Netherlands. The villa had to be relocated because of plans to widen the A1 highway.

Janson Bridging in Hank, the Netherlands, produces temporary, emergency and permanent bridges for civil, industrial and military use. All these bridges - consisting of several types - are based on modular concepts, that can be easily adjusted to the wishes of the customer.
