After 2 1/2 + years of construction, the world’s highest 3S cableway "Matterhorn glacier ride" was opened at the end of September 2018. The 55 million Euro project was developed to increase passenger capacity to the Klein Matterhorn sitting at an altitude of 3902 m. Additionally, it’s now possible to keep the service running when performing maintenance work to the existing tramway.

Following remodeling, the TD Place Stadium in Canada’s capital Ottawa can hold up to 24,000 visitors. The sports complex is located at Lansdowne Park and is primarily used for Canadian football and soccer. The architectural highlight of the stadium is the curvilinear timber veil.

The modular structure of the school will only remain at the present location for eight years. After this period, 36 timber modules including the screw foundations will be removed entirely and reconstructed at another location. Therefore, a completely new configuration of the floors and the ground plan design will be possible. The simple yet functional structure includes the architectural highlight of a front-facing flight of stairs constructed with timber truss girders.

The project St. Josef in Holzkirchen comprises the main church and a chapel which are connected by a common foyer with the sacristy. The foyer area and the sacristy were built as a reinforced concrete building. Main church and chapel are differently sized timber structures and take the form of inclined truncated cones with an elliptical footprint.
Bow River Pedestrian Bridge in Banff, Canada

This slender timber pedestrian bridge was constructed over the Bow River in Banff. The town of Banff is Canada’s first national park located in the beautiful Canadian Rockies. At 4 m wide and 113 m long, the bridge is complete with an 80 m clear span which is perhaps the longest of its kind for a timber bridge.

Within a short period of time, a modern aluminium structure with sophisticated building services was constructed for the company Hydro Aluminium in Grevenbroich.
The construction project on the premises near Düsseldorf covers approximately a length of 220 m and a width of 120 m. It includes various connecting bridges to the existing premises, a three-aisled production hall with outbuildings as well as a 100 m long and 30 m high high-rack warehouse which was constructed in slipform paving technology.
Macallan Distillery, Scotland

After three years of construction, the new production of the renowned Scottish whisky maker Macallan was completed in May 2018. The company building has a spectacular roof structure which fits perfectly into the surrounding landscape. The green roof spans over a length of more than 200 m. It consists of five domes with tapered off canopy.

The tree-top trail in the Giant Mountains (Czech: Krkonoše) is the second experience path of eak (Erlebnis Akademie AG) in the Czech Republic.
Over a length of 1500 m, it twists through the treetops of the mixed mountain forest. It ends at a look-out tower with a height of around 43 m, and its platform offers a breathtaking view over the Krkonoše National Park.

A kindergarten, designed according to Building Information Modeling (BIM), is currently under construction in the Tyrolean municipality of Schwoich. The digital 3D model accompanies the construction project from design until completion.
The architectural planning has been performed with Autodesk Revit. The structural model, including cross-sections, materials, loads, etc., has been exported to RFEM with the direct interface and designed there.
Oxigeno in San Francisco de Heredia, Costa Rica

A unique project called "Oxigeno" is currently under construction in San Francisco de Heredia, San José, Costa Rica. The recreational and commercial space, which measures almost 125,000 m², offers the visitor a relaxing shopping atmosphere in harmony with nature. Amongst others, 200 trees were planted on the site. The main food court is covered with a 1,600 m² ETFE cushion as roof, currently the biggest one in the world.
