A kindergarten, designed according to Building Information Modeling (BIM), is currently under construction in the Tyrolean municipality of Schwoich. The digital 3D model accompanies the construction project from design until completion.
The architectural planning has been performed with Autodesk Revit. The structural model, including cross-sections, materials, loads, etc., has been exported to RFEM with the direct interface and designed there.

The bridge structure of Isarsteg as integrating artwork fits perfectly into the surrounding landscape. Taking nature as an example, the bridge overspans the Isar river like a branched limb. The ramps, stairs, columns and horizontal beams represent together the spatial framework. The pedestrian and cycle bridge, in total 525 ft long, was made of weather-resistant structural steel S355 J2G2W (corten steel).
Todays’ design methods and fabrication techniques of CLT panels allow for easier design and construction of high‑rise timber buildings.
“Îlot bois de Strasbourg” is one of the first CLT building project in France that exceeds 98 ft in height. This building complex consisting of three high‑rise buildings provides commercial space on the ground floor and 146 residential units on the upper floors. The entire structure has a total area of 100,104 ft².

In Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, a 2400-ton mosque has been moved in its entirety over a distance of 394 ft. This was the first time in Saudi Arabia that an entire building was to be moved to a different location.

At the end of 2013, the ‘Vechthoeve’ was transported over a distance of 1,640 ft. The wooden house, referred to as the Pippi Longstocking house, is situated close to Amsterdam, the capital of the Netherlands. The villa had to be relocated because of plans to widen the A1 highway.
Isenmann Ingenieure, Haslach, Germany
The 5-story residential building with an impressive ecological balance had the opportunity to be presented at the International Building Exhibition (IBA) in Hamburg, Germany. Being CO2-neutral in both its production and operation, the Woodcube's energy level corresponds approximately to the one of a passive house. Any material used in the timber cube is completely recyclable and biodegradable.
The customer of Dlubal Software, Isenmann Ingenieure from Haslach was in charge of the structural planning. The calculation and design of the central access core and the pile foundation made of reinforced concrete was carried out in RFEM.
Structural Analysis, Final and Detail Planning

For this purpose, software tools from the company bimm GmbH were used, by which architects, structural engineers, and building engineers can work together efficiently on a 3D model. RFEM and the Autodesk programs Revit Architecture and Revit Structure, to which Dlubal has a direct interface, served as the basic software for this project.
