Parameter input for elastic surface subgrade in RFEM using subgrade reaction moduli Cu,x, Cu,y, and Cu,z.

The image shows the input window in RFEM for defining the elastic surface foundation. Five parameters are used, where Cu,x and Cu,y are the resistances to horizontal displacements and Cu,z is the resistance according to the Winkler modulus of foundation. A nonlinearity such as “Failure under Tension” can be assigned. Concrete-specific resistance values are based on the local surface axes.
