The "Edit Design Supports" dialog box provides a detailed user interface for adjusting support compression checks in timber design. Users can select between inner and outer supports and define specific load points for compression loads in the y and z direction of the cross-section. The factor kc,90, relevant for pressure at right angles to the grain, can be set individually, for example with a value of 1.75 for glued-laminated timber. The support length automatically adapts to the standard specifications where possible.
